”The band got its traditional kickstart from a beer saturated Finnish sauna.” Fear of Domination began as a quintet, but was finally shaped in its present form in 2006. The mob of testosterone was complemented with a dose of estrogen as the picture-perfect synth player, Nina Telén, joined the band and completed the sound and mood of songs.

Fear of Domination brings out a dose of fresh metal with a twist of industrial elements. The debut album, Call of Schizophrenia, was released in April 2009. It’s a cross-section of the bands older and newer material as a previously released demo, Perfect world, is newly recorded on the album reinforced with the bands present sound. Fear of Domination is as ambitious as rockers get and jam-packed with energy.

The band lives on the feeling from music and all of the ambition and energy was caught on tape on their new album. FOD was also a part of the organizing team of Metalorgy – a happening at Nosturi, Helsinki, which portrayed Finnish metal names as Turmion Kätilöt and Velcra.
